Within the library, we have eight computers total available for public use. The six in our computer lab are meant for longer and more in-depth use; each patron who signs an internet agreement is allotted one hour of use on a computer per day and visiting patrons can sign a guest form for an hour of use as well. There are two additional computers located on the floor for looking up materials to check out or place on hold. A public printer is also available; black and white copies are 25¢ a page and color are 50¢ for a half page and $1.00 for a full page.
The public printer is also capable of making copies and sending faxes for our patrons. The fees for copies are the same as printing mentioned above and faxing is $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page.
Meeting and event rooms are also available for public use in our basement. Ask a staff member or call in advance to reserve a space for your meeting or event and to discuss any fees.
Our DVDs and Blu-rays have loan periods of one week with no renewals, and a limit of five movies per patron. These items also have a fee of $1.00 a day.
All other materials have a three week loan period with the possibility of renewal if they are not on hold for another patron or requested at another library within the Plum Creek Library System. There are no fines for these items if they are overdue, but if not returned a fee for the lost item will be applied to the patrons account.
Most materials can be renewed. To renew items you can either ask a staff member in person at the library, by phone, or through the Library Catalogue.
Renewal or additional check outs are not allowed if individual has a fine great than $5.00 or more than five overdue items.
Any materials from MNLink need approval to renew so contact the library and we will see what we can do.
Our Book Drop is located on the south side of the building underneath the archway and is for returning materials when the library is closed. If we are open, please bring materials to our internal book drop at the Circulation Desk.
